GTA 6 Download Time Calculator

Rockstar has not published an official install size yet. The sizes below are examples, not predictions. Try several.

Game size
Your internet speed

Use a speed test on the device you play on. Megabits per second (Mbps), not megabytes (MB/s).

Real speed is usually lower than the speed you pay for. Wi-Fi, other devices, your provider and busy servers can all lower it, so treat the first result as a best case.

How the calculator works

The estimate uses one rule: time in seconds = size in GB × 8,000 ÷ speed in Mbps. A byte is 8 bits and a gigabyte is about 1,000 megabytes, so one gigabyte is about 8,000 megabits.

The calculator does not know the real GTA 6 size, because Rockstar has not published it. It also does not include installation time or updates.

Mbps or MB/s?

Internet plans use megabits per second (Mbps). Consoles and file managers often show megabytes per second (MB/s). Divide Mbps by 8 to get MB/s. A 100 Mbps plan is at most about 12.5 MB/s.

Rockstar has not published an official install size yet. Use the quick values as examples and update the result when an official number exists.

Why is my real download slower than the estimate?

The estimate assumes your full plan speed the whole time. Wi-Fi, other devices, your provider and busy servers can lower it, so check the 75% and 50% rows.
